Raimundo’s path is anything but typical. Born and raised in Hialeah, Florida, he remembers being a child and walking into a courthouse with his father and thinking, “I want to work here.”

But there was no roadmap waiting for him.

With no attorneys in his immediate family to guide him through the process, Raimundo had to figure out college and law school as he went. His journey took him through FIU, economics, accounting, a full scholarship to law school, earning his CPA credentials, and working in the accounting and tax world—including experience with major firms—before ultimately realizing that he wanted to be in the courtroom.
